Brighton Farm Market

For the first time a really top quality Farmer's Market - known as Brighton Farm Market - has arrived in Brighton.

If you're a customer of ours then you can buy our honey here every Saturday. Call us on 01273 382263 if you have any special requests for honey.

I'm writing this having just returned from the market.

It was really great to see top quality produce on display from a wide variety of suppliers - fresh organic vegetables, fresh organic bread, local cheeses, Italian food from Calabria and of course raw honey from us.

Here's a view of the market, going in from North Road.

Thousands of people are going to be visiting it soon, once word gets around. Brighton has been crying out for this kind of quality Farmer's Market for years.

You can see some of the new honeys we have in this video - including honeycomb, sublime Surrey honey (from Elderflower mainly) and Brighton Coombe Road allotment honey.

You can visit Brighton Farm Market website for more details about the market here.

Boiling hot day at Churchill Square Farmers Market selling honey

A boiling hot day at Churchill Square Farmer's Market. Lots of feedback on the honey. Some Americans said this was the best honey they'd ever tasted - much better than any honey they'd had in America. They tried the lemon blossom and chestnut honeys.

You can see from the picture of Karen at the stall though why some people think we sell jam - does look like that from a distance.

On 18th July we're at the market in Jubilee Square, Brighton (from 10am) and also at a market in George Street, Kemptown, Brighton (from noon).

Churchill Square Farmer's Market - Raw Honey

We're off to Churchill Square Farmer's Market tomorrow - it's going to be scorching. Have some new gift baskets for sale, which are selling for £4. A great way to test out some honeys at a low cost before committing to them. They're not on www.pyreneeshoney.com yet but you can buy them from Buy Gift Basket Set of raw Heather, raw Orange Blossom & raw Lemon Blossom honey

The farmer's market is in Churchill Square, Brighton every Wednesday from 9am to 5pm.

Thumbs up for the lemon blossom honey

Kevin, one of our most regular customers came down to the stall we have in Churchill Square, Brighton (every Wednesday) to pick up a kilo of the lemon blossom honey. On tasting it he decided to take four. Then another regular customer from Oxford phoned up for 15 kilos!

[Here's a photo of the stall at Churchill Square Farmer's Market with Karen. ]

I think this lemon honey is probably going to sell very quickly.

I found this photo of a bee feeding on lemon blossom - really beautiful and delicate flowers. If you want to order some of this honey then just go to: Buy Raw Lemon Blossom Honey
